Every year, the local area youth groups come together for one night--for worship, prayer and a time to reflect on their walk with Jesus...or lack thereof.
It's such an amazing night. The first one was held at our church. The second at Living Water. But this year...if you can believe it--it was held at Tumwater High School. Yes. A public high school. Not only that, but the Principal of THS was our guest speaker.
I also heard that this event was being advertised on their morning announcements. Unreal right?? In these times that just amazes me. But it's so God.
I met quite a few students who came that night just because they heard about it around school and on the announcements. None of them went to church, or had ever heard of either host church. SO COOL.
Pastor Andrew estimated that there were roughly 1600 people who attended that night. WOW is what you're saying right now. I know WOW. There was really standing room only on the whole gym floor, and by the end of the night, the bleachers were full as well. It was truly amazing.
