Up in The Air

Back on August 3rd, the ECC Children's Pastor John Miller went "up in the air" and lived on a scissor lift for 8 days. He did this to help raise funds for a few different Children's Charities. And yes...he's crazy.

The cool thing is that Pastor John called and asked if Tyler would come and have lunch with him up there. OF COURSE he will. Here is Tyler waiting for Pastor John to lower the lift down. Can you see Tyler, as tiny as he is??

So Wednesday the 6th, Grandma Jenny and the kids and I went over there to watch Tyler go up in the air and have a gourmet lunch from Wendy's with Pastor John.

We gave Tyler the camera to take a few good shots from up there of Black Lake Blvd and us looking up at him. Here he is getting all set, and waiting to give his donation and do his part. :) Thanks Grandma Jenny for doing that.

And here is Josh and I looking up at Tyler...waiting for him to come back down. He spent a little under an hour up there. Asking all the same questions most everyone had...like how are you going to go to the bathroom? Don't worry...he had a port-a-potty up there. Along with his tent, a table, chair, umbrella, AND his laptop and wireless card. Josh said "what more could you need?" I said....UH your FAMILY?? :)

Even though Pastor John isn't still up in the air, it's never too late to donate to the cause. As of last week, they had raised just over $15,000. WOW.
